HYPERFUNCTIONAL EFFICENCY - PLASTIC PLANTS
GRADUATION DAE
These "fake fake plants" transcend their role as mere imitations and evolve into functional pieces that mimic the behavior of real plants (thus transpiration and photosynthesis) while actively contributing to the improvement of indoor air quality. By repurposing plastic objects that would otherwise contribute to pollution, "Hyperfunctional efficency" challenges our perception of plastic, decoration, and environmental responsibility, creating a thought-provoking blend of aesthetics and practicality. It delves into the presence of plastic objects in our living spaces, particularly focusing on seemingly mundane objects that, while initially non-decorative, can take on a new aesthetic. By arranging them in imitation of fake plastic plant structures, the project aims to explore an intriguing and unconventional form of decoration.
